The Village Improvement Association is an all-volunteer organization and the majority of active members are full-time Irvington residents. The VIA utilizes the resources of the town and its citizens to improve the overall beauty, ambiance, character, and cultural vitality. We manage the majority of the landscaping around town and all the lovely flower pots you see all around Irvington. The goal of the VIA is to bring the community together through annual events such as our Farmers Market, Boot Sale, Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, the United States Air Force Bands, as well as other Concerts held on the Historic Irvington Commons. All the events that the VIA sponsors are family-friendly and open to everyone. 

 

Throughout the Village of Irvington, we function as a resource for volunteerism in support of the VIA mission which is to serve as a community catalyst for the purpose of delivering a higher quality of life for the residents, friends, and neighbors of Irvington, Virginia.
